Put simply we manage investment accounts for people just like you. Tines Capital is a fee-only fiduciary and uses a mix of orthodox and unorthodox investment techniques to give clients a one-of-a-kind opportunity to protect and grow their money. It is an honor to work with each and every client, and we want to help you next!
Where is the Money Kept?
We don’t keep the money in our possession. Tines Capital will help you establish an account or link your current account at Interactive Brokers, a large firm with $170 billion in customer accounts. Accounts can be Roth IRAs, Traditional IRAs, SEP IRAs, trusts, taxable accounts, corporate accounts, and many others. Clients receive regular statements, access to an online portal, and can deposit/withdraw their money at anytime.
What are the investment options?
We have portfolios that are about as conservative as you can find, and others that are roughly 3X more aggressive than those offered at most institutions. Wherever you land on the risk/reward spectrum we can customize and blend a portfolio to suit your needs!
How much do I need to Start?
The average client starts with around $50,000 to $250,000, but Tines Capital has committed to help people at any stage and has no official minimum. If you don’t have the money to start now, we are happy to have an introduction and initial meeting to help point you in the right direction. Though there is no minimum, we recommend having a minimum of $5,000 ready to invest and leave alone for 5 years or longer.
What will Tines Capital Charge Me?
Tines Capital charges an annual fee based on the balance of the investment accounts we manage for you – not your total net worth. When your investments grow in value we make more money. When they shrink we make less money.
